Yeah. My spouse and I just finished the Billy Joel documentary and we were like - woah. So much more on the surface that we had no idea. Another reminder to know there’s so much more people than we realize.

I recently kinda lost respect for Billy Joel after another documentary that was on how he dumped his entire band without telling them that he had been with since his beginning over 20 years, to sign with a record label the guys were out of work and had to find other things 1 had to work at a Market and one of them even committed suicide after years because all he knew how to do is play Billy Joel music in a band. so Billy … KARMA

Making our way through the Billy Joel doc — it truly is amazing and that’s coming from a dyed in the wool Springsteen Jersey girl who always thought of Billy as okay-to-meh—I kid, I kid! But: did I know the catalog through the ‘70’s and beginning 80’s—yup, all of it.

And The Phoenician Scheme was a delight.

Billy Joel is seriously such a talented songwriter. It was a great documentary.

I respect Billy Joel for his talent. Not my favorite music. Always look forward to Friday Fixations.

Felt the same about The Phoenician. But TBH, don’t have room for any fixations other than K-Pop Demon Hunters. I’ve watched the movie on Netflix a few times with my kids. And I really enjoyed it. But the soundtrack? Obsessed. 100% certified bangers. It’s the fun I desperately needed in my life.
